Do you need to disconnect the battery first before you unplug all those cables from the junction box?
Have you ever done the resistor for the AC blower motor?
thank you for this great video! this helped me so much. pretty good mechanic given you pretty much did the whole job with one hand 😛
Thanks Jim. You saved my bacon with this easy to follow guide.
This is a great video. I just bought a 2007 Mazda 3 with 72,000 miles. I'm replacing all the filters and fluids, as the last owner couldn't tell me much about the service history. The cabin filter replacement process is much harder than it needs to be. Thanks for the video. You made it as quick and as painless as could be expected.
The cabin filters had never been changed. They were caked with dirt and leaves.
thanks so much!!
this was so helpful!!! wow!!
I stuck at 7:27. The two screws were very tight and I failed to remove them using 12mm deep well socket and a power drill. Is turning them counter clockwise correct and do you have any tips to loosen them?
Genius cabin filter placement design. Real easy to change.
Ii really need some feedback.Ii have a 2005 Mazda 3 2.3 and the hose under where the air filter goes isn't connected. It seems like I'm the only one having this problem because i cant find anything on it. My hose seems smaller than the plastic part that the air filter goes into ( I'm sorry i don't know what its called) so in conclusion, any suggestions?
You have saved me so much time / $ / angst. If there were a way for me to send you the $ that I would otherwise spend on simple repairs that I do myself, I totally would.
Thx for being there for me / us.
2008 pontiac grand pix ??? cabin air filter
What the hell is Mazda/Ford thinkin about with this one..!?!? No wonder it's never been changed thats a real "pain in the rear end" job for a simple cabin filter..!!
You seem to always get the pain in the ass jobs in your shop. I always say that I should have been a Gynecologist instead of a mechanic. All the makes and models are the same. {:-)
Hey Jim…Always wandered how they fix those small cracks and that sure beats replacing the windshield. Good video Jim and don't work too hard!
