“How to repair rust the incorrect way” I would not feel right selling
someone a car repair like this, if I had a beater and they wanted to fail
it for sharp edges on inspection I’d hammer the fender well smooth and
spray paint it with rustolium.
I assume with the northern accent most cars are rust buckets in the local
used car market there. So… if you buy a rust bucket, then it’s your baby.
I would just wipe some Bondo on it and smooth it out slick as possible,
followed by a couple coats of rattle can OEM Duplicolor. Oh yeah, don’t
forget the sawdust in the gearbox to tighten up those loose bearings.LOL.
If you’re doing a job that you know isn’t going to last and that you
readily admit isn’t the proper way then you kind of are ripping people off.
