Glad I can use your video as a reference on my mazdaspeed 3 only thing I think is different is I need to undo my clap under the hood to relieve pressure

HondaHowTo1 says:

Hey, I appreciate your comment; unfortunately I don’t own a tribute this was just one of my customers cars. My customers dictate the videos that I produce. Sorry. But thanks for commenting.

Antonio Toro says:

I can’t tell you how i appreciate this video. I own a mazda tribute and i’m learning how to make repairs or perform tune up’s and major tune up’s. The problem is there are so FEW video’s on youtube about maintaining a mazda tribute that it makes it hard. i had to buy a chilton repair manual, but seeing it actually done helps tons. Would you mind making one about replacing valve cover gaskets since that is my next project and is a problem i hear a lot of tribute owners eventually run into?

Can you do a video on how to replace the rear brake on this car

cgdoll says:

Great video! I used it to help me change the pads on my old Mazda. Thanks for taking the time to make it,

Excellent video. You covered all the bases!

Can you do a video on how to replace the caliper?

johnny0seven says:

Thanks for a very helpful video! Is the same procedure applied on the rear brakes of my ’06 Tribute V6 AWD (has four-discs)? And also, what kind of brake pads would you recommend for my truck, considering I occasionally tow a boat and drive in winter conditions 5 months a year? Thanks again!

Hi Jordan,

Great video on changing the front brake and rotors on the Mazda Tribute 2002…just what I needed ! As I couldn’t find any other video for the rear drum brakes, Can you do a video on how to change the Mazda Tribute rear drum brakes and drums? Thank you.

danielstoverify says:

Thank you for the response. how do you test a coil under load?

HondaHowTo1 says:

Yes, that’s true. It’s best to test things while they’re under a load as well. If you can, check the voltage on the coil while it’s under a load. You’d be looking for 0 volts. Any other reading like, 1.2v or 2.3v means you are not getting 100% of the voltage to the coil. They are called voltage drops. Let me know how it goes.

danielstoverify says:

I just recently tested my ignition coil. The resistance was within spec but could the coil still be bad? i hear that they most commonly fail when under load

HondaHowTo1 says:

I’d like too, I’ll keep it in mine. Thanks for your comment.

danielstoverify says:
