If you have the income to spend $25k-$35k on a RWD coupe you have a lot of
options. I can’t see myself buying a factory 155whp one where you have the
new mustang about to drop, Genesis, 370z, camaro, challenger, MX-5, and BMW
2 series. I mean they say all this crap about it being a true “driver’s”
car but it should have been cheaper or had more power. Fuck it, buy a focus
ST and fit all ya friends in it and get 100 more hp.
I wonder if it is possible and if anyone has done a enigne swap into a
BRZ/FRS of a 4ageu? probably makes more power and isnt a bitch to work on
since it is an inline 4 rather than a flat 4. also since the engine is
older you probably(depending on your state) dont have to pass emissions and
can just remove the cat.
Spent 37 min watching this guy complaining I will never recover that time
stopped at 2:22 because WTF…. seriously this is a bad intro to showing a

One of the points of the 86 is that its a tuners car if that’s what you
want to do with it – just like the original AE86… “Americanizing” LOL –
please – go to Japan, see what they are doing with the 86. Actually,
pretty much any country it’s sold in has people tuning it, it’s not
“Americanizing” it.

Those intercooler pipes that they are having trouble with look too big for
the application. Smaller diameter would have saved a lot of headaches.

I really hope you guys aren’t mechanics. I reference the oil in the
intercooler line: “it’s bad for turbo and supercharged cars, but not really
as much of a problem with naturally aspirated cars.” NA cars don’t have or
even need intercoolers. And if you hate modding cars, then don’t do it! Get
someone else to do it if you want more out of your car but don’t like
modding. The whole point of modding a car yourself is the satisfaction of
working on your car; well aside from saving cash. Video would have been
much more enjoyable if some further planning had been done and the attitude
was more positive. Cool mod but bad video IMHO…cool car as well.
LOL a supercharger kit for 4k and another grand worth of mods and you only
make 80 more hp? LOLOL why the fuck would you build such an underpowered
platform??

Is it me or is the only noise I Hear some lame music in the beginning and a
couple bangs a couple moments later and then again lame music -_-
From my experience around cars for the last 30+ years. Any time your
modified any vehicle with any force injection mode it become a night mare
of problems and waste of money. If the car from factory with a turbo or
super charge that made for a good starting point for adding more power.
That said, if it doesn’t come from factory don’t mess with it..

problems (like wasting 3 hours getting it to flash when its a 20 min job at

What i was asking is why do they rate these cars at 200hp stock and yours
is 155 thats alot of power loss. My stratus makes more hp then that and the
frs i drove would kill my car i think you got something wrong somewhere

Fully build JDM B18C N/A turbo made 220HP+ 140-150+kw and this car
supercharge made 232HP ???
This car isn’t fast because its Scion.. They know only rich teenagers want
these cars.. And they know teenagers can’t handle any real performance.
I love cars, but if it is that stressful just to do mods on a car, i would
have just kept it stock or bought a faster competitor of the frs like the
s2000. Modding cars really do come with its own problems, your voiding the
warranty of the car by installing force induction and the car becomes less
reliable. Sure your car is going to produce more power, but what about
reinforcing the drive train like the differential because of the increase
production of power with the super charger. these are going to be problems
in the long run if not resolved sooner.
