Part of me thinks that Force India will finish ahead of Ferrari.

Since the 80’s, apart from Michael Shumacher and Ross Brown years i don’t
recall Ferrari being a consistent contender for titles. Perhaps i’m being
unfair but i feel the team lacks specially in terms of hiring the very top
engineers and technical personnel. Side note: Is colombia your second
favourite team Peter? : )
Right now Allison is 100% focused on the 2015 car and I’m sure it wont be
long before then entire team start pursuing next year as well. The teams
hands are tied from making real performance gains from the PU due to the
freeze. All they can work on is reliability. This is key and the biggest
problem they have as the pu is the weakest link. As far as aero
development, i don’t think the team has been as bad as Craig suggests. They
have IMO stayed about where they were at the start of the year in relation
to other teams. The teams mistake in Silverstone qualifying really put the
on the back foot for the race and might have been on the podium without the
qualifying mistake. Fernando had great pace. I have faith in Allison. He
has been given the authority he needs to make the car his own.
kimi is so done with all the BS , you can see in his whole demeanour hes
had enough of Ferraris crap and is not happy AT ALL , its not the kind of
position Ferraris last world champion should be in they haven’t given him
there total respect and devotion and instead are flocking to nando who has
NEVER won a title for them just because hes brought santander with him UGH
+peterwindsor great video. thank you. can you or rob white elaborate on
what you mean by ‘kimi not liking the feel of the front end’ and then
‘using the rear end to cover the front end and not being able to’. can you
or rob white explain what kind of feeling a driver wants, and what the
difference in preference between drivers want.

Reading too much into Mattiacci’s comment really. I’m sure the team have
always been doing everything they can. Makes no sense not to. When someone
says, “we’ll do our best” does that imply they weren’t doing their best
before? No.

After Mercedes brake issues Brembo/Ferrari has incidentally released a
video of their brake system.
Good job Peter and Craig. Great insight. However I wonder how much
Mattiacci’s inexperience in leading a Formula 1 team had to with those
comments. That aside, how much do you think that the Ferrari’s brake
balance at the rear is disrupted due to the new brake by wire system. Or is
it the drivers?
Ferrari has never done particularly well when managed by Italians, no
offence, but they haven’t. When managed by Brits, they win world
championships. Get Ross Brawn back to them and make James his apprentice
and start listening to Rory Byrne’s advice. The Italians seems far too
emotional, just look at their reaction when Fernando went off track during
qualifying in Austria! The Italian staffs gestures says it all. And
whatever they are doing wrong with Kimi’s car… Get it sorted! His car
seems to have all the instabilities for some reason…
Ferrari haven’t been where they should be, since the Italianofication
started around 2007… The only reason they had a couple of reasonable
seasons in 2007-2008 is because it was still more or less build on what the
Brits had left behind from the Schumi era. One of the good italians,
though, was Paolo Martinelli. But he was also part of the Schumi era.

The Ferrari do at least have the most reliable car in Formula One, they
finished every race this season, we gotta give them that one!
Hmmm… I’m only a fan. But it seems to me that Ferrari has been moving
backwards every since they lost Jean Todt and what was that other guys
name? Oh yeah, Ross Brawn! The have a history of making a lot of winning
decisions and going back to making losing ones. We all know Alonso can win
in the fastest car. But can he help to develop the fastest car. This
remains to be seen. Only thing I know for sure. Kimi is a lot faster than
they are displaying him. Oh well. I guess we will see what happened at the
end of the year. Most likely another uneventful year at Ferrari. Cheers
