Car gains about 100 pounds in the rear end, remains balanced otherwise. Per
the owners manual, that is about as much weight you are allowed to hae in
the trunk before car handling begins to be compromised. Would probably help
to do a tad bit of weight reduction in the rear following this, or just not
use the trunk.

We’re going to start doing installs for custoemrs very soon. Will consider
a kit in the future.

Gotta love the sound of that Camry motor!

bavariamotorist says:

What a LOVELY sound… I love the 2zz but you just can’t replicate the
sound of 6 cylinders. Now it sounds legit and not like a Civic 😀 (though
admittedly, the K20 motor sounds pretty good…)

krazzyyo2 says:

insane..i thought my building manager’s mr2 spyder waS quick after he did
the 2gr + the evora 6 speed swap. this thing was lighter!

agnostos1000 says:

I would like to ask, how much weight did the car gain after the upgrade?

d3m0n1z3d says:

About time someone did this! This going to be a kit?

gnolhsobners says:

How much would it cost with install of getting a stock Elise to 400 whp
with your turbo setup kit, and can the motor handle that much without
needing serious mods? Also, very nice engine swap, never thought a motor 2x
as big would fit.

ChristewieTV says:

Although the V6 is cool, I bet it throws off the weight distribution. I’d
rather stick a K20 in it or something.
