Lotus Exige S track test: 350hp, chassis from the Gods – /CHRIS HARRIS ON CARS

Take the Evora S supercharged V6, change the suspension and go chase the Porsche GT3. This is the best street/track car Lotus has ever built. Let’s just hope…

Open diff? That seems surprising. Did the previous Elises and Exiges have
open diffs as well?

ChrisHallett83 says:

Is it just me, or are those front tyres rather skinny?

sobus24 says:

You can see Chris praising that car left and right but once you think about
what he said in this video, that car really has no soul.

ewt415 says:

Such a shame we don’t get these in the States. I’d love one of the new
Elises.

Courtney Dozier says:

narration stuff reminds me of forza 5

DC180 says:

I love driving this car… in DriveClub

Fred Shirazi says:

Appearance = Zero, They need some Italian designers,…………………

Gabriel Solano says:

Stay on the dam road

Andrew Lychko says:

the best Lotus than ever was done

ocalaeyeguy says:

Around $90,000 US

Tony Santos says:

liking your reviews/vids but noticed huge variations in audio quality,
especially voice… this is the worst so far but many others are bad too…

please please use better, more appropriate audio recording devices…

Eryk Pyts says:

in my humble opinion, Exige S V6 looks better than 458 Italia
(in bright colours especially)

Mr Gee says:

350 bhp in something that light with superb handling 0 100 mph in 8 seconds
. maybe not as fashionable as an r8 or as fast as a gtr but imo it has both
of them in its side pocket on the looks department .

Aris Douglas says:

dat face 2:13

filthy individual says:

at what age did this motherfucker learned to drive

Steven Nathan says:

back in the day Lotus stood for Lots Of Trouble Usually Serious. now it
stands for nothing.

Tiago Marques says:

A Lotus that weighs more than a ton? That’s missing the point a bit…

Nick Magee - Brown says:

Rubbish car. Too slow and rip off of hennessey venom gt. Give me a mustang
any day

TheArfdog says:

Might be a “corker”… but it looks like a “minger”. It needs to look the
part as much as it plays it.

Chris Dorgan says:

It’s still £50k though. Unfortunately I would feel like I needed a daily
driver as well and at that price it’s too much for a weekend & track toy.
Time to do the lotto again haha!… but then with that kinda money wouldn’t
I just go for something else?! haha

mohammed rashwan says:

Supercharged NA 2jz or 2zz ?

Andrea T says:

Yep…I could see me driving one of these. Not sure I like the wing on the
back. I like the rest of the body design though.
My problem might be, however, that I “sit” rather tall. Would there be
enough headroom for me?

Col Croucher says:

A lotus is a true drivers car, they always have been, in effect, they
achieve a great performance from very little. This one is on my bucket
list.

Angelo Raymundo says:

its sounds kinda 458

TheWanskiz says:

It really bothers me that 90% of the car reviews in the UK, the track is
soaked! I don’t see how I would be able to get a true since of the cars
limits. Maybe I don’t know what I am talking about; Brits drive on wet
roads constantly and I live in LA. So I am definitely lacking in experience
in that aspect. It rains like ten days a year.

BIG -B says:

that lotus was nice

Lewis72 says:

IMO great car, far too limited market though, which is a shame.

Bradford Eclectic says:

So, you have to watch an ad then you get to read the still, “This video is
currently unavailable”. THANKS!!!
