I love this car, and I’m assuming you other guys watching this do too, but
to most of the general car loving public, it seems they don’t because it
doesn’t go 264 mph… these cars aren’t made for that.. people don’t
appreciate it for what it is…

All that lovely work on the car and the video, and then people like me
(I’ve bought two new Lotuses in the recent past) wander optimistically into
dealers B&C to be told that all the Lotus slots are spoken for, that
business couldn’t be better and that if I’m not super keen on the automatic
box in the Evora that I try, I must be some sort of weirdo. It all sort of
put me off. Scott Walker wasn’t exactly friendly, but he loved the brand
and bled its core values at least. New guy? Not so much.
