The Elise equipped with the 2zz Yamaha designed engine is a terrific motor and well suited to the Lotus. If you ever look at the dyno graph of that engine, you'll see a vertical jump in power when lift engages and changes the cam profiles. And people thought V-tec hit hard! haha
Paid 6K for a 2010 Mazda RX-8. I rather save 24K and fit in it and have a small back seat

Sounds like my 01 celica gts 6spd manual. It redlined at 8900 rpm and weighed about 2600lbs. Amazing little car!
When you pinned it, you felt the vvti kick in after 5500rpm!!! What a blast. Toyota did it better haha
