hey asap u should shut the fuck up you have clearly no intelligence if you want to make assumptions on this video, beer is mentioned very briefly once in this video and all of a sudden you just assume every in the video is just completely wasted. your an idiot and you sound like a pussy
In that case, stay away from the Euro airlines…not only they drink beer, but also wine and the hard stuff in the front office…at the end of the day, they have a pretty red nose. You seen the effect on flyers with a skidoo engine, imagine the driving on a 747 or Airbus…

Couldn’t agree more. Hopefully the pilot wasn’t indulging as much as the cameraman. If that’s what they call responsible I can only hope they killed themselves quickly with no other loss of life. Driving or boating or flying while drunk is BEYOND STUPID!!! By the way I love Quicksilver GT500s,especially with floats. Not all pilots are stupid like these idiots. I only hope they either sobered up or just killed themselves.
Can you say – Dick-Heads? Why are these guys in the air? These guys are called “Congestion” when it comes to flying. I thing they should test their “Spin” recovery skills at 500 AGL. Don’t do what/how these guys do! Idiots.

I voiced my opinion and if you do not agree does not mean it is a pissing war as you say.. but maybe take the beer out of the flying. seen in the clips. have someone who does not sound drunk doing the voice over lesson your risk management .and who knows someone may want to try the sport. I have flown the old obsolete castering tail wheels but not in such a manner or with such an outcome beer, experience set-up?
Guys get it straight here , there is no bashing of the full lotus floats. If ASAP and his son Jeff want to start a pissing war well go ahead. I have hundreds of videos showing off your full lotus floats and their attributes. Viewers like to see the facts and performance. There is no drinking and flying in the videos so you can see how hard these taildragger floats are hard to handle. They have a negative caster angle and no brakes which both contribute to the poor handling.
Andy we can go on and on and have a great flame war but bottom line you cannot possibly agree that this is the proper way to promote ultra light flying reminds me of when we started 30 years ago
Hit a nerve, this is why I took the time to post after seeing a group of very unprofessional fliers. you have some GA experience you should know better look at the GA regs for having a drink and then flying time there after. also as your beer drinking camera man noted.. wow just missed a bunch of planes, that is limiting your risk factor during testing I ‘d be embarrassed to post such video, missing airplanes, zig zaging off the runway and drinking beer while doing so,.yet you guys seem proud?
I’m not sure how long you’ve been flying and what your experience level is with ultralights and/orFull Lotus floats. As for myself, I fly both G.A. aeroplanes, aerobatics and ultralights. I am a father to two kids and am not a risk taker. I take pride in my flying ability especially off unprepared, short, narrow strips with obstructed thresholds etc. it’s what made be a better G.A. pilot. So as much as you’re entitled to your opinion, you really haven’t a clue what you’re talking about.
Buddy you should think before you spew your self righteous judgements. First of all there was no drinking and flying. The gentlemen had a beer on a hot day and later performed a taxi text on my behalf as he has many hours on full Lotus floats. As you can see from the video, floats configured as these with tail wheels are very twitchy and take some getting used to. I taxied it the next day with similar results until I smoothed out the learning curve and was profile .
It seems you have a beef with Full lotus.. which is fine.. my beef is with you guys as I fly Ultraligths and it is guys like you with beer and flying and taxing through bean fields that will continue to give UL’s a bad name.. watching this clip is like watching UL’s 20 years ago.. only a matter of time and we will be reading about you.. give me your address so I know where to send flowers.

– well there is little support of any substance from Full lotus on more than one occasion. The floats do have their attribute but support sucks.
This has to be one of the most unprofessional group of ultralight people I have seen in a very long time..and people wonder why ultralights have a stigma that they do.. it is due to people like this.. drinking beer while flying.. it maybe a good idea to delete the clip if TC gets a hold of it.. but on the other hand great clip to have when one or all of you kill yourself.. only matter of time .. so unprofessional,, and yet links to your own web site .. what you expect business
