Bob Hintzen says:

Aren’t you guys afraid, someone will see you typing in the code, and be
able to acces your car?

Jake Clark says:

If I already changed my keyless entry code from the factory set. Will I be
able to change again using the same steps?

Ciaran Bonass says:

Just wondering whats the purpose of these codes and benefits? Are they
issues on new cars or is it an older model thing?

Scott Berube says:

just programmed mine because of this video, thanks!!…not locking my keys
in ever again

Luis Martinez says:

What about if we don’t have the factory code ?

Robert Benejan says:

How do I disable keypad access completely? Someone has the factory factory
code and continues to enter the vehicle.

Mitch W says:

Helpful! Thanks!

Ryan Ford says:

Yes, as long as you have the factory default code, you will be able to
change the code on your 2002 F-150.

Heith Gagnon says:

I have a little bar code, if that is scanned is that where I will find the
door code? Thanks again…

ROLLOFFBOY23 says:

look under driver side dash, u will see a cream colored box it will have a
5 digit code on it, that’s ur factory key less entry door code. i have an
03 F150 Harley Davidson truck, thats where i found my code.

Ryan Ford says:

Thank you for the comment! Glad the video helped!

Heith Gagnon says:

What if I messed my code up and I cant get my door to open by using it…My
code numbers still lite up when pressed but wont open using my code I have
used for the lat 3 years… It got cold and now wont work…I was pushing
the code over and over and it started blinking and I think I messed
something up…Any help would be appreciated, Thanks…

Ryan Ford says:

Most Ford dealers will charge you to retrieve the code because they are
charged by Ford Motor Company every time they pull one of those codes with
their diagnostic systems.

angie perry says:

$50.00 what a rippoff and everytime you have a problem it ‘s $50.00 and up

Yvet Valdez says:

I was told if you go to the trunk on the left side where you can put the
jumper cables look in there theres a sticker but you need a small mirror
and flashlight

xxXrichmanXxx says:

What if u don’t know the code?

Ryan Ford says:

No, the code has nothing to do with the ignition, just the door locks.

23og1 says:

I put in the factory code and everything works Till i put in my own code,
it doesn’t work and won’t accept it…what do i do?

Ryan Ford says:

Do you still have the factory code card for your vehicle? If not, your Ford
dealer can plug a computer into your vehicle to get the factory code. (most
of the time for a fee.)

ironman4850 says:

I was never gave a card with the number on it they just told me the code
and there is a place you can look to get the code. My question is I was
told you could not change the code which I thought was strange. I have a
2002 F-150 Harley Davidson edition will that change the same way? Thanks

Ryan Ford says:

No, that will just bring up the VIN number. Without the original factory
code card, the only way to get the code is by having a Ford dealer retrieve
it for you with their service diagnostic computer.

sean mcbee says:

i got it and reseted it front the location underneath my center console
don’t believe me ill come show you i am not paying someone to do something
i can do for free

gbay06 says:

Got code under glovebox on 06 f150 but code not working

Ryan Ford says:

That is not the correct code. You will need to have your local Ford dealer
pull the code using their diagnostic computer.

Niko G says:

would this make truck not turn over if you you dont know the code

Ryan Ford says:

I’d recommend taking your vehicle into your local Ford dealer for
assistance.

sean mcbee says:

The codes are located in the car somewhere on my 08 escape its underneath
he middle console I heard for the explores its in the trunk

iphone86ful says:

Are have code, where locate for f150 Harley Davidson ???

Rich Oros says:

Thanks for taking the time to post the video. Very helpful.

Ryan Ford says:

That sounds like an electrical short. I’d contact your local Ford service
center to help.

elias barrera says:

Hello Ryan, I bought a used 2007 f150 crew cab. I doesn’t have the card
with the factory code that you described in the video. If I call the dealer
would they try to sell me the code since i didnt buy the truck at the ford
dealer?

Justin Powell says:

hey why would my keypad not work with the door shut.. it works with the
driver door open with dose not do a hole lot of good with the door open..
is there some thing i can do to make the key pad work with the driver door
shut??

Heith Gagnon says:

I looked around in my book for it and all I could find was the code I have
wrote down and it wont work…would I be able to find it anywhere else in
my sport trax?
