You ended up doing way too much work they needed I did the same on mine that valve cover came right off a little bit difficult but it came right off without removing all the other stuff that you have in removing

On the Grand Marquis the driver's side valve cover is similar to yours but the passengers side looks like it will be very difficult to get off. How did you get the valve cover off on the passengers side? Was it a lot harder?
