How do you unclip the filter attachment?

1:10 "Unclip" and and remove cover. I can't get mine off and it seems permanent. The glove box and locations all look the same. I have an '08 MKZ, this is closest video I can find to match. Maybe it has "clips" too? It can't be permanent, right? Anyone else?
