alternator location for 2001 lincoln ls.
Attempted this and nothing was the same. The car you working on must be a V6
on one of them you just squeeze with your fingers to disconnect it. and on the other one just take the nut off. I have a little inspection mirror with the light on it that I bought from Harbor Freight. that helps me to see hidden areas.
You didn’t say anything about the belt how do u remove the belt

I have a video on removing the drivebelt. At the end of that video I have the diagram on how the belt goes back on.

You are welcome. I have videos on removing the belt. Turn the tensioner tool to your left and the belt will loosen
