Stop showing these terrible ways to replace cv boots by opening the axle joints!!!!

There are easier ways using cv boot kits that are less time consuming and much safer.

For anyone doing this but the Toyota style clamp tool and not the pliers!!!! If you didn’t work at Toyota as a technician you would never know the difference. We learn something new every day! Great video

I dont advise changing a boot unless you just got new axles a few weeks ago, or you drive an expensive car, where they dont have decent aftermarket support.
Why?
Well, cv axles are now so cheap that a boot kit costs a decent chunk of the price of a new one. Throw in labor costs, best just get an axle. Plus, its easier to mess up the boot change than a cv change.

Guys remember to mark a tripod position vs axle. Also protect your inner boot by taping grooves before reassemble. Package with more grease goes to inner part. Good luck
