Do all the steps your seeing here and also unbolt the tie rod and ball
joint I believe it’s 15/16 for the ball joint and 19mm for the tie rod. The
rotor and everything will drop down another 12 inchs.. makes it varyyyy
easy to get the old struts out and the new ones in. I just did this on my
sc300 last week. Replaced the Stock OEM struts with KYB’s and the car
handle amazing again!
My struts need to be replaced,needs alignment, and spark plug wires and
possibly needs a new oil pan. I’m hoping it won’t need anything for a while
after that. It won’t pass smog right now, has to do with the exhaust and
I’m hoping it doesn’t new catalytic converters. If it does I’ll probably
sell the car.
I love this car. I feel very strongly that the infrequent repairs and
overall quality/reliability/power more than make up for the
less-than-average mileage, which isn’t even that bad considering it’s a v8
and weighs almost two tons. mine needs serious work, but still gets me
around… should lay off until i fix it though
@oroscogold they are nice cars but very expensive to fix when they break
down?
@oroscogold I no longer have this car sold it, tired of putting money into
it. Even tho it was great on gas it just started to fall apart after the
struts the fuel pump the the electronics went out, way to expensive to fix
i just got one of these, i cant find anyone selling any coil springs for it
i dont know why, doesnt look like air suspension though
I no longer have this car, sold it breaks down to much and got tired of
wrenching on it
@jtmidget06 I get everything off ebay, no it is not air suspension its
struts, very hard to find parts for these cars.
