Oh and make sure u get the denso brand o2. Lexus/Toyotas don’t like the
other brands.

i just did mine. had to put on ramps also. and used a 6 point craftsman box
wrench (no cheater). took 15 minutes. need to have someone on top to reach
through and hold the release clip for the pig tail as you tug from
below.(no way to get both hands in there from either place do before on
ramps maybe) the box wrench slips over the pig tail. Word of advise keep
the old sensor… if light comes back on then it is good. FYI both sensors
on the manifolds(before cat) are the same part number.

Demon Minds says:

i want to purchase one now, do you have the exact number for item
replacement?

Jon M. says:

Yes that’s the one I used.

Karen Kyle says:

How long did this take you to complete? Just wondering because Lexus quoted
me $499.00 plus tax. Labor of two hours is included in that price.

Jon M. says:

Um I would say maybe a hour or so. But that’s because I had let it sit
awhile in penetrating oil and the wire disconnect on the o2 sensor was high
up between the engine and firewall. But 2 hours! and over $500!!! for a
experienced Lexus tech to do it, I don’t think so. I would think they could
do in 20mins tops. You could probably do it yourself for under $150 if buy
o2 from amazon and a couple of o2 sockets. Get regular o2 socket and maybe
a offset one would give you more leverage.
