I just finished this job. Here’s a little tip, when taking off the air vent, declip it from the bottom with your trim piece remover, use the thinnest one you have to go between the radio and the air vent, and use another one to go side to side. This way you will not destroy your dash.
In the absence of any physical damage to the digitiser, isn't simply re-seating the ribbon cable a possible fix? Digitisers are expensive.
can u please help me i did everything but now all the buttons from the climate all of them dont work the screen does work now but climate map and all of those buttons dont work no more can u please help me pls
Replaced digitizer, still doesn’t register when the screen is being touched. Would resetting the system help with this? I’m not sure what other issue it could be.

My screen works whenever I touch it and has full functionality. My issue is the screen looks glitched and like it’s broken. There aren’t any cracks I can see but I just wanted to know if replacing the digitizer would solve my issue.

I know this is an old video but some people's new cars are old from others.. this video is on point, I. ws following a write down fm other source but things were too complicated, this way saves time, I almost mess it up with the last connector, it's so little and I put it up side down, I twisted the pins, my wife who is super detailed came to the rescue and fixed it. great video thank you so much..
Dude my digitizer was starting to go and had lots of issues I remember trying to fix it one day and I tapped it a little too hard and wow those things are so brittle the whole thing spiderwebbed. I’ve been needing this video so bad cause dealership said they will only replace the whole system I was like hell no they were charging $3k

I followed through with this, but at the end after plugging in everything as it was. The screen didn’t turn on, nor did the ac buttons work. The clock, radio and nobs still worked tho.
Do you know what the dark blue plug is for on top? Mine wasn’t plugged in and I can’t find the plug
I did this and my screen started working but my radio wasn’t working after I put my screen back.
And yes, I put everything back in place
