where did you tap for the remote wire for the amp
The camera is not focusing
you should have get someone else to get hold of your camera mate xx
Thanks dude!
Isn’t that maxima in the background the one he detailed?
Do you get any distortion from running the bass knob wire on the battery
side
cool gotta love bass
I have a 12″ sub and 2 amps.. I bought a car with the whole system
installed already and I don’t really know that much about audio.. The sub
doesn’t slap as hard as I want and it doesn’t have enough bass to really
vibrate or anything. The amps are set on max bass. Would a bass knob make
it vibrate and slap more? or do I need to get another sub.
Awesome job brother!
wow a knee airbag!? sheez lexus= boss lol, clean install btw! and TOYOTA
<<< LEXUS
If you still have this car, I’d say you should purchase a higher end sound
quality subwoofer lol.
Yeah I don’t think I’m going to try it for the heck of it haha, but that’s
great, I didn’t know they were so versatile in that respect, I’m definitely
going to check it out next time I am home.
@midniter57 The Chevy Cruze has a Knee Airbag…..
I DOUNT UNDERSTANT WI HE TORE SHIT UP ALL HE DID WAS INSTALL A BASS KNOB.
nice vid bro may be you can help me out i have a jbl gto601.1 amp but i do
not have the remote bass knob i found one on ebay for 20 bucks i dont know
what brand is it it does not say, but the connector looks the same,it looks
like a phone jack. do you think is going to work or should i get one
specially for jbl they are just hard to find
Haha yeah that’s about the extent I’ll ever get lol
im not one to hate but your shit do look like a corolla but its still clean
ass hell there more like camrys
@midniter57 lot of thw 25-30k cars are featuring it now lol
have fun and good :), nope :p, since mostly people have is your parents not
you :p
Well when I referred to that I meant specifically ES350 owners because most
often usually people that buy the car are of the “older generation” haha. I
know I’m not the only one to do this before, thanks man!
omg u have this car. u r so lucky
Thanks man preciate it!!
if that dash is the same as the es 300 then u could have just popped out
the coin thing by pulling it up and out, and as for the wire, you could
have run it behind it without taking anything apart. ive done something
similar to my 2002 es300
you should try just taking off the dash bezel on the 2002 Suburban and
video it. just start in the lower left corner and firmly pull out. don’t
worry, it’s very hard to break.
check out the crazy stuff i did to my IS350… cool spot for it…got 4
Knobs to deal with
hey can you tell me where do you find the remote wire? cuz i got this 2008
gs350 and im pretty sure its all the same radio harness. so i just only
found the remote wire for the antenna which will work for the radio only
but not the cd’s and aux. so if you can do a short video for this that
would be awesome!!!
Ya, it was for a friend’s dad. But he has a 09 Audi S5 now so sry i can’t
make a video.
wow kyle you got guts doing that on a lexus those cars aint cheap and to
mess one up oh i shiver at the thought of how much those parts cost if you
break em lol btw good tip for working around airbags always disconnect the
battery shuts off power and the airbags wont deploy by accident yet another
expensive part lol
@saabkyle04 was this hte lexus that was wrecked, or its replacement?
ooh Wat Song is it at the end of the vid?
ah much better! Nice video…I’m sure you’re the first to do this…to an
ES350 lol
WHat are you talking about lol?
No, adding a knob will just allow you to turn the bass down. at the knob’s
highest point, it will be like the way you have it now. Try checking your
connections on your amp and make sure everything it connected tightly. take
NOTES of where all knobs and switches are positioned and then start moving
them around and see if you find a diffferent combination that makes it
sound louder. Also position your subs up against your back seat and face
them out to the back this will be the best way. cont…
Seems easy enough to do. Good job.
oh haha, well, I love saabs ey, got a 9-5 and Im thinking of putting 150hp
extra into it with new 3.5inch tail pipe, ooo gotta love it 🙂
personally…I would mod the lexxy. (but again there good as stock too,
(saab and lexus)
Excuse me, where do you get off calling Kyle a F***ing Prick. First of all,
he’s been around cars all of his life, he installed the subwoofer,
Dynamatted the trunk, and this was a sucess. And who else would carefully
take apart a $46,000 Lexus other than certified automotive mechanic. He is
not high and mighty, he sold this car because he felt weird driving a
Lexus, he bought a HYUNDAI. I’d be willing to let him take apart my car
anyday, btw I’m probobly buying this cars twin in a few days.
Thanks dude I appreciate it! Next project is dynamatting the trunk!
you should disconnect the battery from your car when you’re working on your
car bc it’s safer and your battery won’t die with your doors open
hey man! i was just wandering if you can help me, coz i want the same one
as your, coz im crazy about blue led lights! :S lol thanx
putting ur subs facing in will muffle the sound that they put out and will
not let it move the air that creates the vibrations (sound waves). Before
doing these things check ur fuses on each of ur amps and make sure they ar
burnt. also check the one under ur hood. its (usually) a red wire connected
to the + sign of your battery. follow it back from the batt. and find a
Inline fuse. looks and styles will vary but it should be the only thing on
the wire from your batt. to your amp. hope this helps
I don’t think it was needed in this beauty of a car, especially since you
have the Mark Levinson system.
Thanks a lot!
looks like toyota corolla
if you notice he has his rca, power, and remote wired all on the same side.
thats not good for the sound. the rca should be on the other side.
its not really straight lol
yeah it’s very simple. that’s why i LOVE that generation. it’s so easy to
take apart. the two passenger vents pry out like they weren’t there. i am
thinking about buying one of those generations. it’s so easy to take off
the dash and paint, replace and customize it’s unbelievable. i managed to
get the deck out of this guy’s truck just to see how easy it was by
squeezing two clips on the side. easy to steal but easy to customize. i
dunno about the lumina. I’ll look into it for you.
Love how u installed a subwoofer in your car bro, good job keeping it hella
clean..
It depends on the kind you buy I guess, I would think they would too but I
had to buy mine separate at least so I can control it up front. I did
always wonder how you pulled the dash off those gm models! I wonder if
that’s the same way for some cars too, I was maybe going to try and install
a new radio in that 1999 Chevy Lumina at the dealership. This was so much
more worrysome because it’s like made so people won’t do stuff like this
haha, no instructions out there whatsoever haha!
