Never even showed the finished product
it's been two years i have this rock slider on my GX460. i don't recommend it to hard wheelers. it hust has so many designs issues, and can damage your truck if you wheel hard. i had to cut it from both sides too. i wish CBI could've done a better job. looks nice tho, best choice for mall crawling tho…

These videos miss a lot of things. Do you leave the parking brake hold downs disconnected? Why can’t you reattach the light? It would be a simple bracket. Also maybe provide more clear instruction on how to cut this truck up… honestly this company needs to make instructions that more accurately and specifically point out what they are doing.
I like how these fit, but I'm curious about the thickness of the steel, and whether or not there is a KDSS issue – Southern Style sells them KDSS/non-KDSS and specifies 3/16's wall and .120 wall tube, etc. Also other questions on here unanswered.
Would it be beneficial to add welds to the rock slider a long the bottom of the frame or do these not flex much when the whole truck is resting on them while crawling.

So the KDSS plate goes back on no problem? I must have missed that in the video.
