Sitting here at dealer and they just charged a lady $60 to do that.
I’m not 100% sure but I think it won’t go into recirculate mode. Did you crack or force something during the process? If not, you’re probably okay.
Hey homeaddtion. I just changed out my cabin air filter today. I started the car. I put my ac on re-circulate. Turned off the car. Change everything out. Then put it back together. How do I suppose to know if, I messed up or broke the RECIRCULATE SCREEN?

I just tried the Fresh Breeze Cabin Air-filter replacement and I really don’t notice a difference. Heck if anything it seems like it absorbs my air freshener scent and releases a stale version of it upon turning the car on.
Oops when all else fails read the instructions, according to them, and it lists my car in the application guide it says the arrow should point down,
MAKE SURE YOUR AIR IS SET TO RECIRCULATE, IF ITS NOT YOU MAY BREAK THE RECIRCULATE SCREEN AND ITS $1400 TO HAVE YOUR DASH TAKEN APART AND REPLACE IT.
The only thing missing is which way does the airflow. My new filter does not say up like the factory filter, it has an arrow that says airflow. According to another site the arrow should be pointed up in an 2007 es so I am going with that.
Definitely something for airflow and not a second air filter.
