great DIY ..i too had same problem couple of months back but on 2000 ES300
which has the exact same engine as RX. I too sprayed in both intakes w/o
removing those factory installed screws, but after like a week or so my car
still didnt start so i bought bunch of different screws and gave it a try
and WHOA i managed to unscrew them and sprayed it on the magnet. Anyways
now the car runs great and giving better mpg too. ALso you should check
club lexus forum there are tons of info on this topic.
