Hey thanks for checking out the video! Feel free to like and subscribe if you want to support the channel! Today we’re attempting to fix the melting dashboard on my Lexus is250 and fill in the large cracks. I realize this will never replace a brand new dash so I’m shooting for something that looks about 90% better. Enjoy!

I viewed like 30 Lexus IS models today, some of the interior were atrocious, what terrible interirs they are , such a shame as the engine and transmission are great.

FloridaBihh says:

Saul Gutierrez says:

Jdm _04 says:

Where did you buy your screen, I’ve seen this Unit, but I wanted to know where you bought it and your thoughts on it as usability and speed and the price of it. And I wanted to see if you installed it yourself and if so how long it took or how hard, or if you had to do any wiring, I have a more base model one without Bluetooth or voice control or the oem screen (which I don’t like anyways) so mine is pretty similar to yours

Casey H says:

Is that screen replacing a 10 inch display? Curious if it would work in a lexus 2007 ls460 stock spot.

efren garcia sanchez says:

Do you have any links to buy the stereo that you have on your car. Nice.

Please someone help! Were did everyone go that got them replaced I'm in la, Ventura area? I bought my car used and looked up vin to see it had the parts ordered for the sticky dash and even called the dealership that ordered them for my car for previous owner and they lied and said I wasn't original owner and couldn't do anything for me and dicked me around the last owner even ordered them 1 an a half years ago from this dealership that's trying to get out of repairs. My ls460 is a 2007 it lands in line with the extended warranty. Were are the good lexus dealerships. Heard so many story's of the lexus dealerships offering it and being super helpful with it this dealership wants nothing to do with it wtf?

Casey H says:

I live in California, Ventura and la county area. What dealerships actually want to help?? please I've been trying and even after car was inspected and the parts ordered somehow there making up I'm not original owner and can't help me,I think they were trying something shady like selling people s parts for cash and not fixing people's cars who they ordered the parts therefore able to pocket the cash with no one noticing. Someone please help??

Casey H says:

Please someone help my 2007 ls460 should be able to get fixed previous owner even had the parts ordered and when u look up the vin# of my vehichle it was approved for repair and dash and 4 door panels were ordered about 1 an a half years ago and I've heard it taking that long or even longer to finally get them in so I thought perfect probably waiting to be installed. So I called and told them they ordered them for the previous owner awhile back and they could look it up and started to set up the process and at very end has manager tell me since I'm not original owner it doesn't apply and that's just not true I'm the 3rd owner and they ordered them for previous owner who was the 2nd owner, makes no sense and he refused to help me. I could tell they didn't want to go out of there way if I'm not paying, sorry they sold defected parts and are supposed 5o honor the letter they sent out telling people to bring in for the fix and mine obviously is within the time frame and was inspected and parts were already ordered? Any ideas?

SOW THE LOVE says:

There is a recall for this I had my whole dash replaced by Lexus. They took almost 2 years on the waiting list but it did get fixed. This is a great fix though

MrAmesj says:

I cannot get your video or any others to come up on this problem. Toyota must have paid youtube not to show them.

Tony M says:

Thanks for the vid bro, I have the same issue with my 07/Camry. It’s a shame that Toyota and Lexus can’t stand up and take care of this issue like they’re supposed to. Personally, I would never buy another Toyota again.
