Giorgi Davadze says:

hey i have 2006 is 250 which came with original halogen bulbs, i was wondering if i buy original ballasts and bulbs i should be able to mount it on headlight itself yea?

Brittanie Larson says:

From an IS250 owner who’s husband has been trying to figure out how to replace my headlight without paying the $600 for a new ballast, THANK YOU SO MUCH. You just saved us so much money.

Dudley Walsh says:

YOUR AWSOME.
NOT ONE MOVE MISSED
THANK YOU.

T Hump says:

Is the procedure the same for a 06 GS300? I think I have 2 bad ballast. Sometimes one comes on and the other one doesn’t then the the other will come on and the other doesn’t then sometimes neither will come on?

dajiggiest1 says:

On the GS350 you don’t need the heat gun. The ballast wire is only under a piece of plastic and can be movers by hand. I just replaced my ballast today. Great video and the bumper comes off the same in GS350.

Sava Sorin says:

the easy way to do this with out taking the headlight apart, is to take apart the connector from the end of the wires, and run thru the headlight, takes 1/4 of the time,i just did it today on both headlights on my IS,its much simple

ridemx721 says:

…..and pull the wire out through the back.

ridemx721 says:

Man, all you have to do is pull the connector apart for the bulb and pulls

Squall762 says:

Denso OEM’s are usually 35w

bimmer159 says:

Do you know how many Watts is your denso ballast? is it 35watts or 55 watts?

equationoracle says:

how do you know it is the ballast versus a faulty light?

JoeZis350 says:

This video will cut your work down to about 5 minutes. You can remove the ballast & socket without removing the lense. /watch?v=3txVEXAiHjk

studiomtn says:

I rather pay 150 bucks to fix this myself then 2000 which the dealer is charging. I rather spend my 1850 I saved on booze and hookers….

09victoryrc says:

Bullshit,il do this before I pay someone $250

MacSaab93 says:

If you can afford a relatively new Lexus then you should be able to afford to pay somebody do that for you.

jlnortz says:

Where did you purchase the ballast ? I’m looking for one of my Lexus as well as I think its the same problem

sa92ad says:

The problem is how to remove the headlight from the vehicle ???

Arkadiusz Sobon says:

You’re amazing, Lexus ES 350 please tell me how to replace the bulb (D4S)
Thank you very much.

Arkadiusz Sobon says:

Lexus ES 350 2007, How to repleace the bulb (D4S)???

Advancedlites says:

Yes, the only difference is that your engine is smaller, but the headlights are the same.

rumz82 says:

Hi, great video! Just wondering, would I be right thnking that this would also be the procedure for a Lexus IS220d (2006)?
Thanks in advance.

Advancedlites says:

Yes the ballast does have a humming noise while operating. If there is a flicker of light (for a second) when you first turn on the headlight, than the bulb is bad, but if there is no flicker, or any light than it is the ballast. Sometimes it can be a short in the wires. Wiggle the wire on the bottom of the headlight, and if still no light comes in, than it is surely your ballast is bad.

DXTBOW says:

Bro, THANK YOU, GRACIAS….does a working ballast have a HUMMING NOISE when the light is on while the engine is turned off??? I replaced my xenon bulb twice, checked the relays, fuses and still NO Xenon LIGHT…..on my IS250 RIGHT SIDE headlamp.

Advancedlites says:

My pleasure!!

1sofly says:
