Do as I say, not as I do! Those are my dad’s words and apparently I’ve taken the same mantra. In almost every video, I tell viewers to go check out the cars they’re interested in BEFORE they purchase them. But that’s not what I did when buying this super cheap Lexus LS430. So just how bad is the car??
Be sure to watch the video and let me know what you think. I’ll show you the problems I have with the wheels, the interior, then engine AND the body!!

It be nice if you get back on the masarrati
Don’t give up on the LS
Those cars are incredible, it is the owners that let them down. When my son came home from basic training he was looking for an inexpensive vehicle and we came across a Lexus 430 for sale at the pullapart used car section. It ran and drove like a dream and was dirt cheap at $1200, but the interior was so disgusting that it was a hard pass, it was gross to the point where the upholstery and carpet would have to be replaced, as well as most of the door cards, and maybe even the dash.
This Lexus will outlive you if you give it normal maintenance.
Mike, sell me that silver Jaguar…please !…you need the room in your driveway
Great video Mike keep up the great work ❤
There is subject for 2 minute not 13 min. Not much to show..
What an abrupt ending. Good luck
Wrench Baby!…You should live at AAR HQ, do more videos, and have full access to Randy's lift and tools….
I see why they cover the engine. Not the prettiest engine. I know people will say yours buying it for the Toyota reliable they’re known for.
This is gonna be fun video to watch Mike – nice score of the wheels – This is the early pre-facelift 01-03. Plenty of interior parts for silver on silver. These have the folding mirrors – and that right one – never mind 🙂 – This engine is very good unless abused – great job on the coils Mike – and that sterring wheel is in great shape for the miles – usually they are cracked –
The lug nut key isn't in the glove compartment, I assume. Someone else mentioned another location it might be in is the trunk near where the emergency tire would go.
Check for the special lug nut socket with the spare and the jack in the trunk. It's not conceivable that the owner would go to the effort of safeguarding the wheels and tires and then not be able to change them out in an emergency.
I want that hat
I have been keeping up with your channel since I sold you those wheels Mike, Good luck on getting the LS430 back on the road!
I'd drive this LS430 in a heartbeat.
Great car.
Y did the video end abruptly??
Y r u not driving the Dodge Ram?
Very nice Lexus. It's a car that will keep you occupied for a while and keep you out of trouble and away from pulling your hair out mucking around with the Masacrusty in the workshop.
I have BFGs on my Legacy. Excellent riding tire with excellent all season traction in wet weather and snow.
