Hey, I put a JVC KW-XR810 in my Toyota Matrix….great stereo! But, now I
have a problem with the panel display…It stopped lighting up…comes on
briefly sometimes, then goes out again….like a loosed connection. Any
idea what the problem might be. I’m asking because I thought you might have
run into this issue at some point. Thanks for any help!
@1silverboy you have two options, one. you can rewire after the factory amp
behind the glove box 2. you can buy our amplifier integration harness for
$199

hhhmmm…. if the radio still plays sound when the light shut off then it
will be a problem inside the radio. if it all cuts out, check your fuse and
connections, make sure nothing is loose.

@1silverboy its a metra dash kit with metra trim ring part number 998151
and we also have the customs amplifier integration kit
you use the metra brackets. no need to use the jvc bracket and trim.
sorry for the late response. you can either bypass the stock amp and rewire
it. or use a harnes from a company called beat sonic. beatsonicusa/com

ya just replace it. not worth trying to fix something that will break again
