Will I Regret Buying? Suspected SNAPPED Crank – Land Rover Discovery 4 3.0 TDV6

Well I have made another purchase and this time its a non-running 2009 Land Rover Discovery 4 HSE with the doomed 3.0 TDV6 engine fitted. It has not been professionally diagnosed but the dreaded SNAPPED CRANK is the number one suspect with these flawed Land Rover engine.

I'd be putting a start fuse in. I bet it's dodgy earth non of those fault codes would show on a engine failure. Also you'd have faulty codes for the engine

I currently own a Disco 4 also a 59 plate. Obviously having owned my D4 and a D3 previously I follow the forums a Facebook pages. To be fair I've always made plans for the dreaded crank failure and the only company id use for a rebuild is QP Online. They have the best reputation within the Disco world. Hope this helps.
