Commissary says:

Jimbo, lower intake manifold gasket is another likely coolant leak area.
Just changed one out on my 04 DII.

Mally Gee says:

Hi Jim, You didn’t mention a possible fault with the thermostat. That could
cause overheating due to non-circulation of the coolant and water.

chivo1580 says:

i was having over heating problems with my 02 discovery 2, and the coolent
was leaking, someone told me to use stopleak and i have had no problems for
around two years now, and i put some miles on it sense then..

Everette Singleton says:

Great video. Question i can drive in the city no problem but when i take it
on the highway and then come into the city the temperature starts to rise
then i have to let it cool down before it goes into the red.. Please don’t
tell me i have a block problem? I also can hear the coolant bobbling at the
top of the engine area.

Brent B says:

Stop leak, blue devil, etc, can work for a while, but when it finally gives
way, your engine is toast and not worth repairing. One things didn’t hear
him talk about in this video, is bleeding/ flushing the coolant system
correctly. A lot of times, if there is an air bubble in the coolant system,
it allows the coolant to boil, which is bad. This can be caused by a few
things. Bad radiator cap, a hose/ radiator that is leaking, bhg, bhg fixed
but not properly bled, etc.

Joseph Lashley says:

what stop leak did you use?
