Replace Water Pump | Land Rover Discovery

Because of the simple design of the Rover V8 engine, replacing the water pump is a very easy job.

Make sure you watch my previous videos on how to remove the serpentine belt and the viscus fan clutch!

As with most parts on the Rover V8, the procedure is mostly across Land Rover models. The Defender and early Range Rover’s might be slightly different, but all Land Rover Discoveries will follow this process in replacing the water pump.

how did you get the 3 bolts off the water pump pulley? Mine are on there really tight!! Is there a trick to this? I did spray them down with PB Blaster and just walked away…
