While waiting for the PCV valve to arrive in the post, I tackled the last major piece of bodywork left on the Land Rover – the nearside rear wheel well. You will remember that I did the same work to the other side about a year ago, and I have been really looking forward to getting this side done too.

Looked at a lot of your presentations and they are a great inspiration. I'm Two months into a ground-up restoration of a Series 3 SWB, 3/4 canvas top. Very good progress now about to paint the panels and reassemble. Will post a vid of the restoration process around mid August.
BTW I'm in the Caribbean (Trinidad)
It crossed my mind that the electrical cable through the p-clip may chaff. Some sort of rubber strip inside might be a good idea. I’d use an old bicycle inner tube cut into a strip and then rolled around the cable so the clip can compress it. Might be over thinking it but thought I’d mention anyway.

Hi Joel, Great work as usual! Must feel good to be so close to being on the road. I was wondering about those Monroe rear shocks you have fitted? Where did you source them and do you have a part number? Monroe don't list rear shocks for an 88 inch anymore so I guess they are heavy duty units for the parabolics?

Great video as per Joel. Not sure if you remember but the last time i commented on one of your videos I mentioned I was also from Faversham and in search of an S3. Well early Christmas present to myself I bought a late s3 (1983) same marine blue as yours.. going through the to do list atm, fuel tank and fuel hoses need replacing. May I ask which you recommend as I’ve seen all sorts of reproductions not fitting as they should. Sorry for the long message. Best, Patrick
