Land Rover Charging system diagnostics, repairs, and tips for P0A1A

Thanks for dropping by @Auto Scholar with Mr B for this video on Land Rover diagnostics! Don’t forget to like and subscribe for more automotive knowledge, new videos every week.

So we have this case study, a 2011 Land Rover Range Rover Sport HSE with the 5.0 engine, coming in the shop with a charging system malfunction warning light on the dash. We tested the alternator and found it was slightly charging, but it was weak. I found this TSB (LTB00643NAS1) and i show you how to perform the repair. I also go over the differences of the two alternators, and how not to get the wrong one!

Any questions can be left in the comments, and I will do what I can to answer them.

Great video. I especially enjoyed the one about the braking system replacement on the Prius. I may need to bring my 2010 Prius by there, since I also live in Augusta. 🙂
