fantastic – glad it helped! 🙂

Perfect video thank you. I used this for my ’96 front and rear.

fishsponge says:

I don’t have a full-length video, I’m afraid! I only did time-lapse
photographs!

Greg Millenburg says:

Can you post the full length video? I’m an older guy and need the slower
view to see things exactly how you’re doing them. Thanks.

Thank you. Great help. We were in a bit of a panic having to do the brakes
on a Sunday morning but I googled and found your youtube to be the
clearest. Thanks again.

fishsponge says:

hmm… i wouldn’t know what to do if the piston was touching the rotor! I
have a feeling that once it’s come out that far, it will not go back in and
the caliper needs to come off and *possibly* come apart. I’m no expect
though, so I could be talking rubbish! Always a good idea to do one brake
pad at a time in my view, but again – I’m no expert! 🙂 Hope you get on
well with it!!

I hope you fixed your problem, I hammered a screw driver between the piston
and disc when i did this and forced the piston back far enough to get a pry
bar in. Its all fun and games when you don’t know what you’re doing!

Adam Fairbairn says:

Did this on Saturday.

Hi, this video did help. We worked on the front breaks on the passenger
side. However, we took out both the break pads at the same time and now the
pistons on the outside break is on the rotor and we are not sure what to do
now. Thanks.

fishsponge says:

Really quite simple, ain’t it 🙂 Did my video help you or did you stumble
across it by chance?

DoctorPacquing says:

Awesome! Thank you!
