Kirill Sushko says:

This car would work for maybe 5 days. You need to do valve train, head
gasket, and belts. Time after time i see this at my dealership. Customers
don’t listen and just bolt on turbos. And time after time cars comeback
with valve salads and a Christmas trees on dashes. If you turbo N/A, you
need to upgrade internals. Also, why would you mod a high mileage car. You
are giving yourself a headache. It will break down every other day till you
replace every singe part. Yeah sure, it will work then until someone rolls
out on it who spent less time and effort with a newer car with less mods.
Half fast work = half fast results. Do it right the first time.

The two guys with the caps are a bit annoying, just put the damn Turbo on
the MX5 already and talk about efficiency and performance for us folks
trying to decide weather to shell out 1.100€ for a Turbo for their MX-5
cars or not. I got this from googling questions regarding putting a turbo
in my mx5 nb or nor.

I feel for the yodo guy, you can actually see his frustration grow every
second he’s dealing with these clowns

Mitchell Antonissen says:

did i hear them say about 3k costs like this?
for 3.5k euro’s i can just replace my 2.0gt for gt4 engine with an already
mounted turbo.

The part about turbocharging firetrucks cracked me up. Especially the
ending with the ‘throttle-lift turbo sound’ at 5:16 …..Well it stood up
above the rest of the awsome video(‘s)! You guys (and team) are hilarious!

Ana Rivera says:

What kind of turbo is that??

Alister armstrong says:

Can this be done to motorcycle with a carburettor and what will I have to
change

Andreas Nyman says:

I noticed a thing about the firetruck conversation. In the most regular
cases trucks and heavy equipment for example a fire truck usualy is powered
by a diesel engine which do not require a B.O.V. because they have no
throttlebody which means that there is nothing that cuts the airflow when
the throttle is lifted so it just keeps pusching the air down the engine.
And a B.O.V requires a vacuum feed from the intake manifold and since there
is now throttlebody there is nothing that produces vacuum and if you where
to put one there it would choke the engine when the throttle is closed. I
now that most people know this but i’m just bored and tired and I got
disturbed by moogs theory. and by the way I’m from Finland so excuse me if
I didn’t get the spelling 100% right :)

m2350 says:

all of our firetrucks are turbo’d in Murica

If the pieces you are removing are serviceable, why throw them away ? A
good AFM might be needed by someone. hard to talk about recycling and re
purposing if you put good parts in the junk bin.

Mykola Byelov says:

These guys are the f*cking best haha!

alex liatsos says:

good show but having in mind the money spent in crappy projects like the
180sx or the civic you should put more in the mx5. only for the motor
aftermarket cams are essential and porting the head. also weighting and
polishing the crank to allow you run 7500-7800 rpms and then push 1 bar
pressure to the td04 should allow you to have 200whp with a decent
powerband of 3500-4000 rpms. then drivetrain and rear diff should be
improved. suspension and brakes are a must with a 120% power increase. all
the above with used parts would cost u around 10k
