what kind of foam is that
The foam is ordinary hard white foam
Its called gybrock filler
Hey Miles Have you ever fibreglassed over that type of foam before? Poly
resins eat it. Don’t wanna be a cyberspace smart arse, but I do have 35
years experience glassing car parts & sculptures, as you’ll see at my
channel. If you know this and are relying on the filler to seal your foam
you’re gonna have to be extremely careful to literally avoid a melt down.
I’d hate to see all your hard work dissolve.
Name of filler please!
To seal your die I’d reccomend Famowood Glaze Coat. I just use a single
layer of wax & don’t polish it, then paint PVA release over that. Do you
understand where to divide your sculpture into mould pieces & how to make
the joining flanges?
Thanks bro. Its going slow because i only have 1hr a day free
thanks i hope its finished by summer too
The filler is called gybrock putty or filler
Great Job!………..Also loved the 2 Stroke bike that rode down your
street at the 0.58 mark! What bikes are cruisin around like that?
thanks mate, i thought of that thats why ive put 4 coats of gybrok filler
and then ill be adding a layer of hard liquid protection over it befor i
lay the wax then the fiberglass.

Miles, I like the progress of your project. I hope by summer it’s done,
Keep up with your good work.
Looking good, keep the videos coming! I would recommend triple checking
your windshield/windscreen dimensions way to many of these projects don’t
get finished and windshields tend to be a big contributor. Looking forward
to the next vid!
It was a try hard shit box scooter going down the street
