perfect job. nice music

Isa Anghello says:

I like the result, and the music. Great

robert webb says:

You DON’T hold the rim in a chuck like that. The datum(s) for re-maching
are the wheel spigot hole and the back face of the hub section. Put this on
a mandrel after machining, and I bet it wobbles. Go look up Geometric
Tolerancing if you want to know how to do it properly.

Donald Godin says:

Great job on that wheel..wow! Just like new again!

fordmanmal . says:

I just picked up some wheels I had left with a wheel repairer, and he
obviously missed a lot of steps. They look like shit. Not worth fighting
about it, he done a cashy for me but took 6 months! So gutted, going to
have to take to another shop to do properly. I expected them to look like
this but the dish has bad ridges in it and still has small nicks from curb
damage….and one rim that was real bad, he just grinded it out, so has a
shallow spot. He also didn’t grind & weld the deep ones, just lathed but
didn’t smooth.

hakan marsik says:

but it was thin.

tom oli says:

cost to repair one rim is enough to buy another set haha

Bayley Gallegos says:

MoiDj22 says:

I never thought there was so much process restoring a wheel! I need to do
mine, how much would it cost to fix just one, like the one in the video?
Great job fixing that one!!

Andrew Storlie says:

sweet process BUT… who ever is paying all the money to fix these rims
deserves to pay a lot, maybe it’ll teach him/her to learn how to drive and
park right… I was never taught how to drive, I learned on my own and ive
maybe hit the curb 1-2 times… and I park on a curb everyday. learn how to
drive people!!!!!

Istvan Boldizsar says:

Well done mate! You are really professional!!!

shane jennings says:

for all the people saying get a new rim , what if they are special rims
that are no longer made? or off a classic car that needs to be original?
this is where doing this repair makes sense as cost is no object in cases
like this

marcmayer10 says:

song name?

turbotrana1 says:

Definately a woman driver who stuffed the rim.

EDGEspace390 says:

the snow just fucked mines up is there anyway i can get mines fix i live in
michigan my rims are chipped in spots and it makes me wana cry seeing all
that money i spent go down the drain

The-Mike_D says:

Geeze totally automated and yet they charge so much. Like $175-$450 per
rim. At least that’s what the shop next to me charges for mine.

ralextres says:

Papo how much a prossess like this cost?

Pedro Moratalla says:

I need to get two of my rims repaired. I have no idea on how they got
slightly bent. You can not notice it right away but you can see it when I
have my tires balanced.

TheSpeedholic says:

As nice as this Is.You always need to check the cost of a new rim vs the
fix of the old one.

Monera96 says:

o.0 might as well buy a new wheel

san379 . says:

repair worth more than the rim.. i fixed my grand prix chrome rim for
10$..check my channel

glipz160 says:

good shit good shit.. good video

R.L. Natschke says:

Why do people from the UK think anyone cares what they do there? lol

lordangel1221 says:

Wish there was a repair shop like this in Puerto Rico……..

glipz160 says:

dam who the fuck was driving your car? they fucked up the rims

Reece Martin says:

why not just buy a set of aftermarket wheels
its cheaper,

Nic Daniels says:

This is such a bad idea on a critical safety component. Removing material
from rims is like cutting a brake rotor. At some point it is no longer
safe. Do you know where that is? Are you providing liability insurance with
every repair? Even welding up deep gouges alters the metallurgy and will
not be consistent. Fortunately, in most cases the CNC time is more
expensive than replacing a rim.

hung le ngoc hung says:

qua tuyet voi

texan176 says:

So the final cut was about .5 mm deep to cut the repaired areas and the
undamaged areas to the same level plane? Also, did you clear coat it? The
machined look is great but the corrosion on them is really bad; Honda
wheels specifically.

imortaliz says:

why? music was so chill!

killersushi99 says:

Well when you show up dont be looking for a 5 year old boy to molest. You
will be VERY dissappointed. I can’t satisfy your sexual need for young
boys. Im too old for you.

clint lund says:

Mute button was used while watching this video

ThaDentMan says:

Well worth the money whatever they charge

Andrew Brazier says:

That’s why I don’t drink and drive

FDSeoul says:

I could not agree more!!! Only if the sheeps knew about the critical spec
that these wheel manufactures have to adhear in order to pass DOT
regulation they would not risk thier lives nor they lives of their loved
one. This is not one of the things I would short cut on any car. I don’t
care how much you tell me I’m saving in repairing this shit.

ThePugMonkey says:

Why didn’t little piss ant silly boy just get mum and dad to buy him some
new rims?
