Daniel Lopez says:

Did the dust caps not fit after you put the led lights in

Patrick Sutherland says:

Hey friend. I like the video, but I just wanted to correct something you mentioned. The red seal on the headlamp assembly isn’t actually a factory part. This seal comes preinstalled on the bulbs that you purchase. Occasionally they get stuck to the headlamp assembly, and they’re left behind when you remove the old bulb.

The Apple and the Worm! says:

so you do not replace the original covers for keeping anything from getting inside of that area of the headlight?

Ramon Hernandez says:

I'm having trouble finding led for my projector style headlight. For my soul .

baconbefore1am says:

Your video showed me exactly what to do, a great help. I appreciate it!!!

Ramon Hernandez says:

Where did you get the led adaptor plate

chrisproyect2 says:

Hows the night vision? I just use like 3 different LED and no one give me a good and nice light.. the light disperse everywhere but not to the front.. i can see more with the OEM halogen bulb. Sorry if i dont explain well.

Jeremy L says:

will this work for the older soul model such as 2011?

Eriick Méndez says:

Hello, thanks for video, I just buy H13 bulbs, but top of every bulb dosent fit with the conector inside, is not any problem with the rain or weather? later

bluelipbeaver says:

Thanks for the video. You did a great job.

John Binuya says:

Quick question on the orientation of the LED is it vertical or horizontal with reference to the ground?

jake merchant says:

clean the area the double sided tape will stick to with alcohal and it will stick better for alot longer, just a helpfull tip.

C List says:

That looks like a total hack job. You did not reinstall the headlight access door. Now moisture will fill the head with water and the inside of the headlight will fill with dirt.
What a hack .

Kntryhart says:

Kia Soul not listed on Oracle website listed above.

Maynard James K says:

What model number was used for this? I have a 2016 Kia Soul

Benjamin McCardle says:

I tried to find these bulbs on Oracle's website and I couldn't find them. I'm probably just bad at looking. Do you remember the name/model of the ones that you installed on this car? I have a 2018 Kia Soul and I'd rather there be LEDs on it. Thanks

Andrew Lee says:

my local professional installer for HIDs LEDs angel eyes and all kinds of aftermarket stuff said the Kia Soul can't use this due to the cap. any update on any moisture problems during rainy seasons?

Kuweiyo says:

Hey I know you made this video 2 years ago, but I just wanted to say thank you because you are the only person i could find with a detailer, easy to follow video on this installation. Seriously thank you.

pat mulcahy says:

I am not sure how you did the drivers side without removing the nut that holds the headlight lens assembly with out removing the screw that is in the left front wheel well unless you just broke that off. Page 7/78 https://ownersmanuals2.com/get/kia-soul-2014-owners-manual-37121

Dennis L Ch says:

how did you do so that the turn signall light is on as position light?

Brandon C says:

Just by looking at the way the light was being reflected inside the headlight compared to the right and left you can tell the bulbs needed rotated to get the correct beam pattern. I also have a Kia Soul and did an LED upgrade. The light output was terrible until I discovered there was a set screw on the bulb that allowed it to rotate in the housing. I got the best beam pattern by orientating the LED chips on the bulb with one facing the passenger side and the other facing drivers side – so basically sideways. With the led facing upwards I got barely no light output at all. This is because halogen bulbs radiate their light in a 360 degree circumference unlike LEDs which are directional. As far as the dust cap goes, I put mine in but used a dremel tool to carve out a groove to run the wires through. Once they were in I used silicone to seal up the grooves. In the summer, I had no problems with fogging of the headlight but once winter hit I did. I used a hair dryer to blow in warm air to clear the moisture. Hope this helps someone out there with their Soul.

Brian Gomez says:

Hi! Thanks for the video! It was really informative! I was about to return the LED lights I bought because I thought the cap needed to go back on. Obviously it's better if it does go back on, but you stated in a previous comment that your customer was fine with it off. Are there any other solutions to this? AND if it does fog up, how do you get the moisture out? Hopefully you can help me, or if it's better to just return the LED's I bought then I will. THANK YOU and I look forward to your help!

Jose Angel Ramirez says:

Hello. I just ordered an LED kit for mine that does not fit my 2017 + model. What bulb model was that? I have the same style connector. The ones i ordered were H7 and was told they would fit. Thank you in advance

Ryan Perez says:

Just curious since you took those plastic caps off did you notice any moisture getting in your headlights after installing them. Just had to remove them on my vehicle which is a 2017 Chevy Cruze and was wondering if moisture will come in and fog up the headlight assembly
