KIA Forte Check Engine Light Fix -Complete HOW TO

KIA Forte Check Engine Light Fix -Complete HOW TO

In this video, we troubleshoot and fix the P0017 check engine light on the 2019 Kia Forte. We do a full tune-up on the car, change the PCV valve, change the oil solenoid actuator, and do a compression test on all the cylinders. The Kia Forte was a salvaged flood car that we won at a Copart auction so we went the extra steps to make sure everything was ok. We also used our Vevor Bore Scope camera to inspect the cylinder walls before changing the oil and filter.

Great video on this particular car, I have never owned a Kia before so I can't give any opinion on that matter, it is good to see that this car is getting the royal treatment. Thank you for such good quality video. Keep up the fabulous work.

Aye Tyler its always great to see you after a bit of a wait for your next video. Hows it going in life with all these wars happening around us. Say hi to your dad from me .

Michael Livote says:

Good job! Those particular Kia's can be a real pain to figure out. They have so many issues that most folks just don't even bother with them after they hit a certain mileage. Glad to see this one at least getting some TLC. Keep in mind that with any type of altered title, in this case water damage, it will seriously limit what you'll get for it in resale. I hope you make at least some profit from it though!

Really good video for teaching first timers.
You need to get a "T" handle wrench, makes things easier.
