2019 Kia Sorento LX uses four 10mm x 1.25" fine pitch thread bolts installed vertically in the trailer hitch flange. The three lag bolts AKA carriage bolts do not fit in the horizontal holes of the frame rail due to them being 1 mm too big in diameter. Never install a hitch on a Sunday because all the hardware stores especially Ace hardware who has the best selection of alternative bolts nuts and washers closes early at 5:00 p.m. always install your hitch during the weekdays starting at 10:00 a.m. so just in case you need to get an alternative bolt nut and washer you won't get shut out like I did.
Have you try to towing a travel trailer with your Sorento? I have a 2020 Sorento EXV6, but no trailer package from Kia. Do you think if this hitch can able to tow about 4300lbs dry weight? Thanks!
