I have a 07 kia optima I can't locate the intake vvt solenoid
Wow this is much simpler than I thought it’d be. I keep throwing a code for this. I worry it’s throwing a fault because my sound system (which is custom) is drawing too much voltage. I think installing a capacitor would fix that issue but it couldn’t hurt to test / replace both the solenoids. I’m only at 35,000 miles and bought it new.

Do you know where it is on 2010 2.0 engine kia forte ex
I am planning to buy a 2010 Kia Forte for $1500 from a woman who was told she needs to have an engine replacement with codes P0011 and P0014 during diagnosis. She said at least 3 mechanics told her she has to replace it for at least $3000 but i believe they might be trying to rip her off. The car still runs. What are the chances of fixing this problem based on the information i was given? I fixed my infiniti m45 VVT codes last year so i am sure i can tackle this problem. Any thoughts before i throw money at that car?
