How To Make Your Kia Last Over 30 Years Without Any Major Repairs!
Kia longevity isn’t about luck or a secret mechanic trick. It’s about disciplined maintenance, catching warning signs early, protecting the cooling system, staying ahead of transmission problems, and knowing when your Kia needs professional attention.
In this video, we break down the habits that can help a Kia reach 300,000 to 500,000 miles, including oil and fluid maintenance, cooling system checks, tires and brakes, transmission warning signs, AWD maintenance, and the difference between normal wear and catastrophic repairs.
We also answer the bigger question: can a Kia really last 30 years with zero major repairs? The honest answer may surprise you.

The paint is starting to have issues unfortunately, I love this car so much but the paint is literally having some major issues, I just drive 8 miles to work and 8 miles home everyday. Car has been on the highway once or twice, has not been driven off road or anything the paint is chipping all around near the edges of the doors, the hood and other spots that are just prone to rock chips from the road i guess? But the passenger door is a brighter color black with shades of green in it where as the rest of the car is the same deep sparkly black. Very strange. Maybe a paint flaw from the factory? You can see it clear as day when you look at it. Car has never been in any accidents and is very well taken care of, I only hand wash it. no automatic car washes. Hope to get 10-15 years out of this like I did with my toyota with minimal issues over the years.
