Pretty good effort but, didn't see you clean out the reservoir bottle or the air mass sensor while you had that off. Flushing the radiator would have helped a lot, I didn't see you put the gasket on the thermostat housing. Hope it all works out for you. That top hose look swollen, go ahead and replace it. If there's a leak I will check that gasket at the thermostat housing first.
GATES 43559 pump / MOTORAD 416180 thermostat. / GATES 31528 rad cap
Bleeder pin on the thermostat needs to be at the highest point of the housing
Great video brother
If I have a tiny amount of dried coolant only around the tensioner could that just be a little loose ? Or is pump done
We don’t need to put the oil cap back I …..because water, screws, bolts and other foreign objects can’t fall into the open gap…….next
Whole time I thought this was hard but I can 100% do this
Just cut the belt – that should be replaced also. Most likely the tensioner and guide pulley as well; otherwise, you end up revisiting the same area again.
If your coolant line looks like this car, you are going to want to flush out the whole system (inclluding the Radiator).
This is what happens when people put just WATER in the purge tank instead of coolant.
Why does it look like coolant mixed with oil. Something else might also be wrong bud
Hey man hopefully you see this but on step 15 the metal piece that you need to be careful with, I’m having a difficult time finding the o ring that goes inside of it if you by chance know the exact name or part number of it I would really appreciate it a lot if you could tell me
Is the repair the same on a Base model?
Why did you disconnect the battery?
