Great video. Helped a lot! I just finished doing mine. Worst part on mine was removing the bolt on the steering knuckle. I removed the nut first, then tried to spin the bolt… the head would turn, but the threads didn't budge. I didn't want to shear the head off, so heated the hell out of everything and hammered from the back side. Took some convincing, but it did eventually come out. Also, I couldn't get my torque wrench on the front bolt, so I had to jack up the motor/tranny a bit for some clearance (mine's an Auto).
i followed your steps, but i cant seem to bang the ball joint out of the knuckle. its stuck. any tips?
It seems like do as much on your own cars and families car as a mechanic does for his customers… Kills boredom huh? Either that or you just love this stuff.
