Why don't you get right to business. Why the long introduction? And why all the paint talk. ?? I wanna learn how to take the mirror only brah.. Lol
This is not at all related to your own situation, but would you happen to know if replacing the mirror assembly will get rid of the constant clicking noise from the mirror motor? Some sites say the mirror switch could be bad, and others say it's probably a ground short in the mirror wiring. I'm not trying to pull my volt meter out and start chasing problems. I'd rather just get a new part, slap it in there and call it good. It doesn't seem likely that the switch has gone bad. What do you think?

My plastic cover wont go back on the same way. It's a gap between the cover & the door. Any1 else have this issue?
This video takes longer to watch than it actually takes to replace this mirror. Pull the plastic cover off the inside of the door. Unscrew 3 nuts. Remove mirror and replace.

Is this model an SX and also how can u tell if it’s a heated mirror?
Where did you find the mirror?? I need one and can’t find any under $200 and I feel like that’s outrageously expensive. Also, any chance you’d know where I could find the doors as well?? I had the exact sane thing happen only that my doors got pretty smashed up. Still fully operational, just very bad looking.
