Oh dear! The MK1 Rio in the video was such a nice car to work on!
Everything was easy access under the hood. I sold that car almost a year
ago and replaced it with an older Peugeot 306 diesel. Don’t get me wrong, I
love the old XUD engines in the Pugs, but by god the Kia was easier to work
on!
Nice bit of explaining! I will be doing my Kia Sorento brakes today. I’ll
see if I have the same set-up. Haven’t experienced those “wire-springs”
before on caliper brakes.
Hey Nick, Thanks so much for the help. quick question. did you replace the
brake fluid the you took out?
If one of the bars that you slide in to the break falls off while you’re
driving, is it safe do drive temporarily? Thanks
No worries, Hoped it helped you!
As with your arc welding video, you make this look easy – a pieceof …
cake! Good, clear explanation and well-lit images. Thanks.
No problem, Hoped it helped 🙂
No worries 🙂
Excellent Guide, thanks
😉
I seem to remember that an old man advised you to keep that car. Maybe he
had a point?
No worries! Hope the video helped.
Fantastic explanation…Thank You!
Great video!
So much easier then on a 2005 Rio. I broke the guide pins in the caliper
bracket they were stuck so I had to replace the brackets.
