Every engine burns oil. The rate is the variable. As a former lube technician in a shop for almost 20 years, and more, you see patterns. Kia was a cheaper engine. Oil can be lost by the rings, valve stem seals, or a number of places that just leak.
Come on Scotty, its one of the ugliest cars on the road and look over your right shoulder at that giant blind spot at 10:50 into the video! I would never buy a KIA.
My wife has a 2012 Sedona that we bought New and now has 190,000 miles and still running great. It's been a very reliable vehicle. Has never left her stranded. Only thing besides regular maintenance that's been done is the oil sending unit had to be replaced, and the 02 sensors. That's it. We plan on keeping it till it won't run anymore. No complaints here.
Burning oil = BAD CAR.
I would drive the dogshit out of it, get a new engine from those jokers, and trade the POS in!
We have a KIa sedona 2010 bought new closing on 200K its not crap by any means and is quite peppy been all over USA with it. I had a new Caravan before this that seemed slow compared to it and yes I compared directly and went with Kia.
I have a 2016 Sorento AWD LX with the 3.5 liter V6 purchased in September 2016 with 26,000 miles. Right now it has 87,000 miles and is getting 28+ mpg in the 60-70 mph range. My wife has been the primary driver. No goosing of the motor and using Michelin Defender tires. Standard maintenance. I can't complain. With current prices, I hope it keeps going.
I had a hyundai with a 2.0litre engine that Grenaqded on me after the warranty it was a , it was a 2015 Hyudai Elantra Sport ,it was naturally aspiratedi made it to 165K
and then the engine said goodbye!~
The next vehicle I purchased was a 2017 Toyota camary SE with a naturally aspirated inline 4 cylinder has plenty of power 2ARFEi change the cil every 5000 miles ,so far soi good ,i bought it because ,it was recommended by you Scotty,i like everything on it except it has no heated seats ,ichange the oil every 5000 miles
Glad I didn’t buy a Kia.
