That's always the trick, trying to scrape the old gasket off without scoring up the surface. I just did this on my 98 Camaro Z28 with the LS1. Aluminum face, you don't wanna mess that up. Plastic scrapers and a bunch of gasket removing gel that barely seemed to work.

I never fail to learn a few things on every video you post. What a nightmare job. The worst is the way an ignorant customer may blame and bad mouth your shop for what was obviously his fault. A taut taunting nightmare, ha ha.
