I have a 2000 jeep grand Cherokee limited 87,000 miles. Sucks that it does
stall also. Gauges go haywire and then stalls and wont start till bout 10
min. Til then none of the gauges work, not even the fuel meter. My pcm is
different from yours, but I wonder if its still the problem for newer
jeeps.

ps i dont have meter to test it out hope she turns on and last for the
winter hate to get stuck in the snow with a dead pcm grrrrrrrrr

jbentley0 says:

Nope… My newer pcm with the 4 connectors doesn’t have the connection
board on the back of the metallic plate. It just has one single circuit
board covered in the thermal protective gel. I saw no weak points or
connections to remedy what is causing my U0101.

M SM says:

-.- Its still not fixed on mine. Is yours fixed?

lucidvenom says:

in most cases that should be the first thing you should rule out the go
over the ignition system

jbentley0 says:

I’ve got an 06 Rubicon with the 4 connector PCM, throwing U0101 (Lost
connection with TCM) codes. I’ve seen numerous vids today about this same
fix. I think mine is the same. I will try tomorrow and let you know. Thanks
for your Vid! There is no information out there about this problem/fix. The
stealership is making a killing on replacement PCMs!

arucard619 says:

mine is fixed

M SM says:

So its running now? I’ve replaced the ignition coil and the 02 censor on
mine those were the codes it was throwing. But really its the wires
connected to the PCM.

S31Syntax says:

Howdy, I have a 98 laredo with low idles and stalls. I just replaced all
the spark plugs, all the wires, and the ignition coil with no effect. I’m
gonna try resoldering the pins on the PCM tonight and I’ll update tomorrow.

Hi, I have a 93 Jeep Grand Cherokee, I’m having the same prob. with the
pump taking a awhile to prime to the fuel rails.. It takes at least 8
cranks before I hear the pump kick in. I took my PCM apart and it looks
different from the 96 in the video . Once I took the cover off the PCM the
pins and the PCB are in this protective gel. No soldering of cold contacts
here. My wiring harness is held in with a screw to the base of the PCM. I
just wondering if I should invest in another PCM ??
