Is This Jeeps #1 Problem!?! How To Replace A Clock Spring On A Wrangler.

Fixing one of Jeep’s #1 problems, the clock spring. Do you have dash lights that come on? Have you lost traction control or antilock brakes? Well it might be due to the failure of the clock spring behind the steering wheel. Unfortunately it is normally an expensive part unless we try this ebay special.

Well I bought the same Jeep last year. I just fired up my CHEAP not cheap 5.3 swap and will start beating on it soon.
Could I put a after market wheel on it? Thank you for starting your own channel I like Jeeps but also own 4runner's and will soon
Get old F-body Mullet cruiser camaro for BURNOUTS and just to be loud and fun.

Not always the fix. Just sold a 2007 that had no working horn, no cruse control, traction control light and an air bag light that drained the battery in 48 hrs. I replaced 2 clock springs, air bag computer, cruse control switch, horn relay, cruse relay. Nothing worked. My problem was either in the ecm or in the wiring. I got sick of wasting time and money and sold it cheap. I told the buyer that they had to unhook the battery every night and they wanted to buy it anyway. I'll never buy a computerized jeep again. Old school Jeep maybe.

Great video. I cringed when you turned the key. Waited for airbag to pop. An idea for a video would be replacing the plastic clip for the shifter cable in the console.

Colt thank you! You have a wealth of knowledge that I appreciate you sharing. I Have a 2014 jku with this issue, started with battery connection, moved on to thinking it was water intrusion in the sway bar disconnect module, but after seeing this I believe you put me on the proper track. A little intimidated to deal with the air bag but I will figure it out with your help here.

I love my jeep and this may save our relationship, not to mention keep my wife happy since she drives it way more than I get to.
