A. Reidmiller says:

This video was a huge help for removing the valve cover to get to rocker arms that have failed. Really great detail in disassembling everything to get the the valve cover. Taking the inner fender off was well worth the extra 10 mins of work. There is no way to do it without access through the wheel well. Anyone doing this will end up hating the wiring harness, transmission dipstick, and various other things you will have to fight with every step of the way. When she says “you name it, it’s in the way,” she wasn’t lying. Good luck to anyone going in this deep in their engine. Thanks again for the great video.

Logan wolfpack says:

Why would you take the inner fender well and outer fender off and all that extra crap out. when I found it easier to remove the battery box/fuse box. I didn’t wanna remove my built in work bench

mopar family says:

do you guys have a video showing how to replace a lower intake manifold on a 2013 jeep wrangler sahara unlimited ??? lmk please

Jose Prin says:

Jose Cruz says:

Luis A says:

Keith Olsen says:

one of the best and clearst repair videos i have ever seen

Bob Green says:

I have a ticking rocker. After watching this video, in other words it's a pain in the butt…

Greg Watson says:

Excellent video. The best advice tip was to remove fender flare and wheelwell liner, because that gives the BEST access to the rear of the valve cover (for PCV valve removal) and side of the valve cover (for lower nuts).
Loosening and moving the transmission dipstick tube is also the best advice I can give, to access upper PCV valve tore bolt and to make valve cover removal easy.

TwayPhoto says:

Once you've removed the fender bolts and round trim buttons at ground level with the wheel off, the whole fender can be lifted off the flat trim tabs and then they can be removed with pliers much more easily and put back on the fender. They're in a slot just for this and much less chance of breaking them. Can do it this way in 3 minutes once the tire is off.

Bill Mitchell says:

In the hour and 17 minutes +, I realized 2 things: 1) she is calm and knows what she's doing, and although a time consuming job, it is a do-able, and 2) if my covers start to leak, I'm putting in a hemi, it's easier.

Ryan & Jen says:

What about the drivers side?

James Key says:

And that's the easy side!

Mel Swedburg says:

Great video, helped me get to my rocker arm to replace the ANNOYING ticking sounds and my valve cover was leaky come to find out as well

Miguel Garcia says:

Thank you for the very detailed video. Much appreciated.

Santi Carrillo says:

How much would this cost me at the dealer??

WBOS72 says:

Great video! All the detail is amazing. Thank you.

RodrigoSanchez1993 says:

What about the other side? Lol it's harder to do the other side I bet.

ColbyC1212 says:

Thank you so much! I followed this video to get the valve cover off to replace some worn roller rockers that was causing ticking noises. i couldn't have done it without this video, thanks!

Jeremy Hauser says:

the valve cover bolts aren't meant to stay in place. pull them all the way out

Jordan P says:

Looks like Chrysler made this Jeep to only be serviced by the dealer. And I was thinking of buying one… No thanks!
Congrats to this lady. Patience is a virtue.

Ian M Burke says:

06 Jeep was still a TJ and was a different engine 4.0/2.4 and the JK from 07-11 also was a different engine (3.8) the 3.6l penestar was only offered 2012-2018 in the JK

Cody Skelton says:

Spray wd40 on red safety clips for injectors to help free it up. Any clips on this motor hit it with lubricant to ease removal.

Michael Mills says:

Lucky for me my battery is on other side because I am from south Africa where everything is on the right(correct) side.

Michael Mills says:

She is so patient. I am busy with same job and oh my. Thanks for the helpful vid

keith kurtz says:

I found on a forum people torquing the valve cover gasket at 44 – 55 inch lbs. Which is acurate?

Steve King says:

I'll be doing this soon to fix "the 3.6 tick". Seems like it might be easier to remove the battery and battery tray rather than wheel, fender inserts and flares? Thoughts
