On my 89 the vacuum canister fit under the radiator reservoir without
needing to extend lines or other mods.

Have you thought about upgrading your lighting harness with the kit from
lmc and running h4s? We did it to my brothers 99 XJ and it definitely made
a big difference. To make it even cheaper you can even build your own
harness.

This is just in time to rip the stock bumper off. I’m replacing it with a
custom square tubing bumper. We use a stackable pallet system at work with
metal frames and removable legs that you set the next pallet on top of.
Each leg is about 2.25″ square and is rated for 4000 pounds even though
it’s relatively light steel. The damaged ones normally get thrown in the
recycling dumpster but I think they can be recycled in a better way.
